Prefers moist, fertile soil as well as acid soil (6.5 or below).  This makes an excellent specimen tree for estates, parks, golf courses, campuses or other large areas.  Deciduous.  Trees grow to a height of 40-70’ and may reach 90’ and spread 40-60’   Full sun.
